travel photography; city scene; san francisco, california

of all the non family related photographs i took on our recent trip to san francisco, this one is my favorite.

we were standing on the corner in north beach listening to some musicians play when i looked up and noticed this man watching out the window from the restaurant upstairs. . . almost as if lost in thought. . . dramatic light from a street lamp made it seem to me like a perfect scene:

black and white photography, capturing light and essence of a city while traveling

also, is it just me, or does he look a little bit like santino from project runway, season 2?
