So excited to share Sarah & Ross‘s recent wedding on the blog today. What a beautiful day at Phoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes!*
If I could sum up this couple’s special day in just a few words it would be “surrounded by love.” From their fun, sweet, supportive bridal party to the beautiful ketubah signing and bedeken ceremony to their wedding under the chuppah where Sarah encircled Ross seven times according to Jewish tradition and their dear family and friends standing in a circle and truly surrounding the couple in what was one of the warmest and most beautiful wedding ceremonies I’ve ever experienced; to the extended horah dancing that was filled with so much love and “ruach” (spirit) . . . Sarah and Ross were quite literally encircled by love and support the entire day. The spirit of the day and the warmth and support of their family and friends can only be a reflection of the kind of people that they are, as individuals and as a couple. It was amazing to watch these two go through their wedding day with such ease and grace. It would not be an exaggeration to say that every moment that Sarah and Ross were together they were holding hands or embracing in some way and that they didn’t stop smiling all day long. The way these two look at each other is something I would wish for every person to experience with the one that they love.
Sarah and Ross, thank you again for the honor and pleasure of documenting your stunning wedding day. If your wedding day is any indication of your future life together (and I’m certain it is) I know it will be a life full not only of love but also of joy, togetherness, spirit, tradition, music, laughter, family and friends.
