“When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.”
― J.M. Barrie,
Peter Pan makes a great theme for a baby’s nursery. Full of wonder, adventure, love, friendship, imagination . . . and pixie dust! . . . the timeless book and movie provides tons of inspiration for a child’s first bedroom.
There are so many beautiful Peter Pan inspired pieces of decor out there and I’ve put some of my favorites together for a Peter Pan Nursery that can grow with your baby. Many of these pieces will easily transition from baby to toddler to child’s bedroom so that you’re not spending a fortune on a room you’ll have to redesign after only a few years. And most of these pieces are gender neutral and would look great in both a girl’s and boy’s room.
These pieces of decor would also be great in a travel or adventure theme nursery or kid’s room and many would work in other rooms throughout the home, too.
“You know that place between sleep and awake, that place where you still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always love you. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”

Little Boys Should Never Be Sent To Bed, Peter Pan Print (love this print for a Peter Pan theme or for any boy’s room! You could easily change it to “little girls” for a baby girl’s nursery.)
